Pottery
Use your imagination to hand-build with coils, slabs and press molds. Our tutors will teach a variety of techniques to create forms such as pots, mugs, animals, sculptures and other unique pieces from clay as well as how to use simple tools to create texture and detail. Children can then use a range of coloured slips provided to decorate their pieces before firing.
After the course works will then be finished with a transparent glaze by our staff and refired before collection.
This course is suitable for those of all abilities and levels of experience.

Please note that due to the intense firing process, some pieces may be damaged in the kiln. Whilst teachers will advise how best to design and build pieces, unfortunately damage is sometimes unavoidable.
